I’m one of those person who is lazy to tidy up the photo albums in my phone until I do it. It’s been a while since my last post just because of this reason alone. So, when I do (tidy up my phones) – I will make a new blog post hehehe. So, this time I’ll tell you my business trip to one treasure island, Bali – Indonesia.
Who doesn’t love Bali? Whatever your occasion, when it comes to Bali, everyone (at least at my office) will scream of excitement. Those who are based outside Indonesia will do the same too. I got the chance to have a short business trip at Bali. Not purposely going there for getaway, what can you do in the charming Dewata Island?
Chillin’ Out at Hotel’s Beach Club
When you are on business trip, going to a cool beach club might take a bit of effort. I mean, it’s ok if you have the time. But what if you don’t? Well, chilling out at your hotel’s beach club can be a great option. Most of hotels in Bali has their own beach clubs – well, when you’re on business trip, higher chance is you will stay at a decent hotel, isn’t it? I stayed at Novotel Nusa Dua Bali at that time. I took a free shuttle from the hotel to go to its beach club which is located 5 minutes away from the hotel. What could be better than wearing your shades while reading Kindle in a private beach club with your favorite beer?
Enjoy Sunset at Rock Bar, Bali
Bali offers a bunch of the coolest restaurant and bars of all places. Rock Bar is one of my favorite. It is located on a steep cliff in one of the most luxury resort, Ayana Resort Bali. You must pay attention on how you dress when you are going to visit this place. Casual shirt and short or slippers are not allowed, including shirt with alcohol brand on it. To enter this place, you would need to go through the luxurious view of Ayana Resort Bali. Then, you will be directed to take a cable car to go to Rock Bar. The view of this place was amazing. You can feel seawater mist smells on your skin and huge waves crashing the rocks. This bar is opened on 4PM to 1AM. So, sunset will be the best time for you. Come early or it will be difficult to get a spot there.
‘Back-to-Nature’ Lunch at NOOK
As the fulfillment of my introvert side, I sneaked the time to have lunch at a peaceful and calming place. NOOK is one of the best option. Located among the hustle & bustle of Seminyak, you can find a calmer place which offers an open air restaurant just beside the green rice fields with beautiful decors. Sit back, relax, enjoy your comfort foods with the breeze sweeping through your hair.
Business trip to Bali is not a bad idea at all. The island offers you so many things to do during your free time. Who can resist Bali anyway?
